Impromptu No. 2, like many of my piano pieces, was inspired by surviving in a busy city, navigating heavy traffic, hopefully safely!

"Metropolis Unitas" is Latin for “City United.” I’m amazed by the diversity in Los Angeles and hope that, in the fullness of time, it will indeed be a city united.
